I have a two allen bradley motor starter with thermal overload relay on a cooling tower fan, one for low speed and one for high speed. The overload relay trips on the low speed and generates alarm I ohmed out motor and checked connections and amps. Reset overload takes too much force on the reset button and it constantly trips. Found GE replacement for the entire starter with overload. My question is, can I use a GE starter with overload relay on the low speed? willl it work find with the other one which is allen bradley? There are connected with auxillary contacts one NC and another NO.
Thanks
