Hello, this is my first post to the site, I've been reading and getting great info, would be great to get some assistance.
Background: I own a fitness studio in San Antonio that we built out 5 years ago. Since then we've had 5 AC companies (including Trane) and none of them can figure out why there's higher than normal humidity
Equipment:
- 2 Trane RTU - THC048E3REA--D0B0A1A0B00AA00000000000000
- 2 Honeywell Tstat - TH8110R1008
If I understand correctly, these Trane units have the Reliatel board with the optional Dehumidification using hot gas reheat.
My current HVAC company discovered that the Tstat is not wired to the NLTB board that controls the dehum.
Questions:
1. Are these Trane units able to run "Cool On" and "Dehumidification Hot Gas Reheat" simultaneously? (I keep getting different answers, my current HVAC company says no)
2. How can we wire the 24VAC Tstat to the low voltage NLTB board to allow the Tstat to call for dehum?
I'm not a pro so hopefully I got all the terminology and electrical correct.
Any help would be appreciated, I'll pass along info to my HVAC company for guidance.
Thanks!
