Hi and thank you in advance for any advice.
I have a Russel compressor cooling a walk-in freezer. Right off the bat this unit short cycled. After each cooling cycle it would turn off then after a few seconds would kick back on once or twice for about 1 second each time. 3 separate techs looked at it and each had different theories. One of them hooked up a time delay to eliminate the short cycling but when another tech was out for a separate reason he disconnected the time delay and did some "tuning" to correct the issue. Now 2 years later my unit is short cycling as many as 10 times after each cooling cycle. I want to hook the time delay back up as a temporary band aid but I am not confident which wires need be redirected to the delay switch. The time delay is still in the unit as seen in the attached picture and I found the short jumper cable that was used. I believe I need to redirect either one of the brown or orange wires hooked up to the main relay in the center left of the image through the time delay switch at the top left. Any wiring advice is welcome.
