Hi,
Looking to setup email alerts for a FX80 JACE Controller. Reading the forums here seems like most people set it up with an account/password. My question is can we use our own internal email server instead and not use account password? The contractor will be coming by with FX Workbench to set this up so we just want to be sure we have everything ready and have the info ready to hand off.
Looking at video on youtube for FXWorkbench setup for email.
I assume the field we just have to do this
Hostname: internalcompanyserver.com
Port: 25
Enabled: True
Use SSL: False
Use Start Tls: False
Transport: Smtp
User authentication: False
Replyto: Name: Test Address: BMSFX80@company.com
Then ask our email team to add the fx80 controllers static ip address to smtp relay?
Is this correct or is there other settings you recommend that i have to set?
Thanks everyone for your help. I just want to make this a fast easy setup for this building.
