I am about to do some grass seeding on my lawn next week and will need to water the new seeds for a time whenever it is not raining. We are on a 220ft well with a 8-ish gpm pump of unknown age/provenance in a house we bought last summer.
Would it be better for me to try and run maybe two hoses and sprinklers at once to ensure the pump stays running continuously? My worry is short cycling the thing. I am not sure what the GPM rating for a standard sprinkler is.
Thoughts?
