I just had a SoftPro Elite 24k Upflow Water Softener (Rebranded Canature NRV TO-150 with Hydrotech HT89 Valve) and a SoftPro Whole House Upflow Catalytic Carbon Filter (Rebranded Novo NRV (Non-Regenerating Valve) Whole House Carbon Filter) and quickly realized I should have bought the auto backwashing with electronic valve variety of the 10x52/1.5Cuft whole house carbon filter.
What are my options for salvaging this terrible mistake and either converting to a downflow/backwashing or...
