It happens that the copper lines that feed my bathroom are in one of the shower walls (corner setup) and I could build a niche box right below where I make the transition from copper to pex and I turn horizontal.
Two questions:
can I make the transition using such a shutoff valve ?
Is there a way to make the niche box relatively easy removable in case of an emergency ? By easy I mean just remove some caulking and then put it back when the emergency was dealt with
