Hi there, we recently have a new HVAC company signed up through tender. There seems to be a LOT of issues presenting themselves since they took over. A lot of which is justified, but I'm having a hard time deciphering between must-do's and could-be-done-better type work. This image was brought to my attention today. Said that these pipes must be replaced due to some bending from snow load and that we need sleeves for the pipe entering the building.
These pipes have been reinforced in the last couple years already since the roof has been replaced. Also, for reference, this building was built in 2003, implying I'm not sure if the piping in the building issue is a new code that may have otherwise been grandfathered due to time of construction?
This facility is in Ontario, Canada.
Thank you in advance! This board I'm sure will provide lots of help to our operation in the future.
