Green waxy buildup inside copper pipe | Terry Love Plumbing Advice & Remodel DIY & Professional Forum

A while back I cut into my cold water line to fix a leaky valve. This line feeds both the kitchen sink, and tees off to the said valve, then right to an exterior hose bib. The green stuff feels pasty in consistency. Anyone know what this is, if it's safe to drink the water going through it, and a way to get rid of it? Thanks in advance.
